Symptom

  • Error "BW System XX returned state 'NO_DATA_AVAILABLE'. Message = Characteristic YYY does not support exclusion of selections. All selections for characteristic YYYY are invalid and have been discarded." when running web intelligence document based on BW universe with filter "Not in List".
  • No issue when running the query without the filter Or when using BW OLAP as source instead of universe.
