3720083 - Story type is showing "Classic Story (Deprecated)" when searching an SAP Analytics Cloud optimized story to export

Symptom

  • While exporting an optimized story, the story type is showing as "Classic Story (Deprecated) "
  • Issue occurs only when searching the story with its name for example.
  • No issue when browsing the folders manually instead of searching: The type is displaying as "Story".

Environment

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAC
  2. Go to Transport -> Export -> Content Network Storage -> click on "+" (New Export) to create a new export
  3. Perform a search of an optimized story with its name.
    >> The story is found with type: "Classic Story (Deprecated)" instead of "Story".

 

Cause

The issue is caused by a defect in the product.

Resolution

The issue is fixed in version 2026.07 QRC2 (2026.05-18) of SAP Analytics Cloud.
