3720124 - How To Display Position Name and Code From Job Information in Document Generation

Symptom

  • How To Display Position Name and Code in Document Generation 
  • When configuring the Position field in a Document Generation Template, only the position code is displayed.
  • The requirement is to display both the position label (name) and the position code from Job Information  in Document Generation

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Document Generation

Resolution

    Step 1: Create separate placeholders in the template for position code and position label (name).

    1. Go to Manage Document Template
    2.  Map each placeholder to the respective position fields in the Document Generation Template Mapping.
    3.  Format the display in the template as: [[position_code]] - [[position_title]].

    Step 2: add mapping

    1. Go to Manage Document Template Mapping
    2. add
    3. Mapping Type:  direct 
    4. Base Object: Job Information
    5. Target Field: ( select your target)
    6. Example:

    1. Go to Generate Document
    2. select template
    3. download
    4. Result:
