How to change the text color of the Greeting message (“Good morning / Good afternoon”) displayed on the Latest Homepage?

To change the greeting text color on the Latest Home Page using Theme Manage UI, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Admin Center.
  2. Navigate to Theme Manager.
  3. Select the active theme and click Fine Tune.
  4. Go to the Home Page section.
  5. Locate Greeting Text Color.
  6. Adjust the color as desired.
  7. Save the changes and apply the theme.

After saving, refresh the homepage to verify that the new greeting text color is reflected.


Export theme/Import theme

Another way to change the greeting text color is by using the export/import theme feature in the Theme Manager. Kindly refer to the steps below:

  • In Theme Manager, Scroll to the bottom section and go to Theme Sharing
  • Select Export theme
  • Press Ctrl + F and search for “greetings”
  • Locate and update the following key:
    homepage.greetingTextColor=E02AC1 (replace with your desired color value)
  • Go to Import theme and paste the updated configuration

Note:

If the changes are not reflecting on home page, please check if under Theme > Fine Tune > Landing page theme, there is another theme being used. The theme will then follow the configuration from theme added under "Landing page theme" instead it's own. 

FAQ

    Q: Is it possible to change the background image or color of the greeting banner (“Good morning / afternoon / evening”) on the Latest Home Page?

    A: You can change the greeting text color as described above, but the background of the greeting header is system‑controlled and cannot be changed or branded on the Latest Home Page.
    As the greeting header itself cannot be customized, you may consider:

    • Use Theme Manager to align global branding (colors/fonts).
    • Using a Banner Card as the first home page content item for visual branding.
    • Submitting an Enhancement Request if having an image in the greeting header is a business requirement.
