3721559 - Assignment Fields are Empty for FX-Postings for Certain Accounts

The Assignment Reference field is empty for the AFCV (Advance Foreign Currency Valuation) postings on certain accounts. When analyzing Balance Carryforward, the Assignment Reference field is taken over for some accounts but not for others.

1. Enter the Display Line Items in General Ledger app.
2. Filter for FX-Postings and see that Assignment Reference field is empty for some accounts.

Account Assignment ZUONR is configured to be taken from original document into the original G/L Account for business transaction type, but it is not a balance carryforward field. If this field would be inherited from original document, then the balances in the dimension under this account assignment could never be carried forward into the next year. This is critical for postings under non-open-item management account and in reclassification run.

For non-open-item-managed accounts, certain fields (amongst them "assignment" or ZUONR) are not taken over by Balance Carryforward. Account Assignment ZUONR is reset to be not relevant for postings under non-open-item accounts and reclassification run for the rule step assigned to the business transaction type.
