3721819 - Time Sheet Validation To Have at Least 8 Hours Per Day

Symptom

You would like to prevent the employees to submit/save a Time Sheet if 8 hours are not recorded per day.

  • SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking 

Resolution

Validation can be carried out using Time Valuations.The valuation should also consider the empty days within the timesheet week. 

NOTE: Below is a sample for reference. You may create time valuations according to your specific requirements:





  1. Minimum 8 Hours Error (SP_Alteast8hrsperday):





  2. Empty Days Check - Alert & Error
    1. SP_AggregateCoreTime (SP_AggregateCoreTime)





    2. SP_DIF_SWT_CoreTime







    3. SP_CHECKEMPTYDAY






    4. SP_Alert and Error
