3721863 - How to create API Subscriptions for data exports for model in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)?

Symptom

  • Monitor data changes by subscribing to a model.  
  • Tracking starts upon subscription creation and continues until a delta export is performed, capturing all changes during this timeframe.  

Environment

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD

Resolution

  1. Log in to SAC.
  2. Open the model
  3. Navigate to Data Management.
  4. Select the API Subscriptions tab (any existing subscriptions for the model will appear here).
  5. Click Add new subscription.
  6. Enter the Name and External ID, and choose the entity set to track from the dropdown.
  7. In the Create Subscription dialog, click Filter Dimensions in the left panel.
  8. Click Select Members in the left panel.  
  9. Use the checkboxes to choose the members whose data you want to track.
  10. Click Create to save the subscription and close the dialog.
