3721924 - Scheduled output items remain in "To Be Output for Dunning Notices / Feature Not Active in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• In the "Output Parameter Determination (OPD)" app, the dispatch time for dunning notices is configured as "Scheduled".
• Output items are successfully created but remain indefinitely in the "To Be Output" status.
• No corresponding automatic background/batch job pick up or execute these scheduled dunning output items.
• Attempting to manually trigger or process a single dunning item directly from the output monitor has no effect; the status remains "To Be Output".
• This behavior deviates from other areas (such as billing documents), where "Scheduled" output is processed seamlessly via standard background job.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

For dunning notices, the scheduled output feature is currently not implemented as an active application functionality.

This behavior is a known limitation within the Dunning process. Currently, the "Scheduled" dispatch time in the "Output Parameter Determination (OPD)" app is not supported for dunning notices and cannot process output items under this configuration.

A Customer Influence Program (CIP) request to address this limitation in future release has been raised.
