3722110 - Unable to change the Profit Center due to actual postings in Plan Customer Projects app SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

The error "You cannot change the profit center as actual postings exist." occurs in the Plan Customer Projects app when attempting to change the profit center of a project with actuals posted.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Plan Customer Projects app.
  2. Enter the project number and click enter.
  3. Navigate to the Information tab on the right-hand side.
  4. Attempt to change the profit center.
  5. Save.

Cause

Actuals have been posted.

Resolution

  1. Use the Manage Organizational Changes | SAP Help Portal app.
  2. Scope Item 4PG must be activated in the system, in order to access app "Manage Organizational Changes". This scope item isn't standard and isn't activated by default.
