3722214 - Inbound Delivery cannot be deleted in Advanced ICSTO due to error ME635

Symptom

While deleting inbound delivery in advanced intercompany stock transfer order scenario (IC STO), below error is encountered:

 "The confirmation cannot be deleted."

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the APP 'Change Inbound Delivery'
  2. Enter the Inbound delivery number
  3. Click on Delete
  4. Error ME635 'The confirmation cannot be deleted'

Cause

When there is a 107 movement type in the PO history, it’s not possible to delete this inbound delivery even though Goods Receipt material document has been reversed which resets the Goods movement status to A.

Resolution

Reverse/Cancel the 107 movement type before deleting the inbound delivery.
