3722628 - Business Partner Forwarding Agent Does Not Appear in a Standard Form Template

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to Manage your Solution app.
2. Click in Configure Your Solution and navigate to the Partner Determination under the Sales Basic functions. 
3. In the next screen, select option for setting up partner determination for Billing header.
4. Click on the Configure button on this option. 
5. Choose the partner determination for Billing document and double click on the Partner functions in Procedure option from the hierarchy menu. 
6. Add new business partner function Forwarding Agent and check the Print Rel checkbox to enable print relevance and provide a print label. 
7. Click on Save once done to save the configuration.
8. Now that the configuration part is done, check that this new business partner is available on the billing document header.
9. Navigate to the Maintain form templates app.
10. Under pre-delivered templates, download standard form template.

Partner Role Forwarding Agent is not visible.

• Standard templates do not automatically display newly added partner labels or fields.
• The standard billing document templates also do not contain a predefined label or field for the Forwarding Agent partner role.
• SAP delivers standard forms with a fixed set of predefined fields.
• When additional partner functions are activated for printing, SAP makes them available in the XML data structure.
• The adaptation of the form layout remains the customer’s responsibility, as described in SAP’s documentation for business partner output in S/4HANA Cloud.

To include this information, refer to the below steps:

1. Copy the standard form template from the Maintain form templates app.
2. Download the XDP file.  
3. Manually incorporate the relevant partner node and label into the custom form.  
4. After a partner function is enabled for printing;
5. Manually add the corresponding node to a custom form template using Maintain Form Templates and Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
