Symptom
Unable to hide Unassign button on the Manage Team Goal page despite users lacking the "Delete Assigned Team Objective" permission.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Check in RBP Troubleshooting Tool and ensure that a user does not have "Delete Assigned Team Objective" RBP permission.
- Navigate to the Goal Plan.
- Access the Manage Team Goal Page and observe that the "Unassign Team Goal" button is visible for the Team Goals.
Cause
Expected Product Behavior
Resolution
-
The RBP “Assign Team Goals” controls whether the Assign and Unassign buttons are visible
-
The RBP “Delete Assigned Team Goals” allows a user to delete assigned team goals. While this permission contributes to whether a user can unassign a goal from another user, it does not control the visibility of the Unassign button.
- Currently, only the "Unassign" button cannot be made hidden for the Team Goals.
If you think this current behavior does not satisfy the business requirement and would like to see it changed, please kindly create an enhancement request so we can take it into considerations in future plan. This will enable us to gain a deeper understanding of customer expectations to work on improvements.
