3723132 - Using /tasks API with Patch does not add the externalReference - Cloud ALM

Symptom

  • For existing Cloud ALM tasks, add an externalReference using the /tasks PATCH API call
  • Receive a "200 OK" response, but the externalReference is not there
  • Other field changes work -> just the externalReference field cannot be added
  • If a new task is created using /tasks POST API, the externalReference is saved
