3723199 - ASSERTION_FAILED short dump raised when creating/changing batch data in app F1706

Symptom

User is processing an inbound delivery with multiple batch relevant items in Change Inbound Deliveries Fiori app. If a new batch is created for an item and change any data of another item, a dump is raised in the backend system and saving of the delivery fails. The dump is raised due to ASSERTION_FAILED runtime error.

Issue can also be received after implementing SAP Note  3715802 - App fiori F1706 - at batch creation getting error: /SCDL/UI_CONTROLLER030 'Record could not be written..'.
