3723628 - "Authorization error You are not authorized to import this package." when trying to import a package in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

  • When trying to import a package in SAC, error message appears: "Authorization error You are not authorized to import this package.".
  • The import screen does not show up.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud Enterprise (2026.2.5)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAC.
  2. Go to Transport>Import.
  3. Click on a package.
  4. Notice the error: "Authorization error You are not authorized to import this package."

    Cause

    Issue is under investigation by development team.

    There is a bug on the transport feature in scenarios when the SAC tenant is linked to a Datasphere tenant.

    Resolution

    Issue is under investigation by development team.

    Workaround: Create a user in Datasphere tenant with the same email address as in SAC.
