Symptom

Completion of a course in the LinkedIn Learning site is not reflected in SAP SuccessFactors Learning.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Complete a course in the LinkedIn Learning site.
  2. Verify the course completion status in SAP SuccessFactors Learning.
  3. Observe that the completion is not posted in SAP SuccessFactors Learning.

Cause

The course was not imported into SAP SuccessFactors Learning at the time of completion. The system requires the course to be imported into the LMS prior to completion for the integration to match the completion to an existing course record.

Resolution

  1. Confirm that the course was not imported into SAP SuccessFactors Learning at the time of completion.
  2. Import the course into SAP SuccessFactors Learning.
  3. Manually add the completion to the Learning History for the affected user.
