Symptom

  • An error occurs when attempting to create and save a Visit.
  • Error message: RBAM: No authorization for 'BuiltIn WRITE' on instance 'DEF' of 'BONodeProxy BUSINESS_ACTIVITY ROOT' in context 'UIApplication '.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Visits view.
  2. Click to create a new Visit.
  3. Fill in the information.
  4. Click Save and observe the error: RBAM: No authorization for 'BuiltIn WRITE' on instance 'DEF' of 'BONodeProxy BUSINESS_ACTIVITY ROOT' in context 'UIApplication '.

Cause


Resolution

  1. Verify the user is allowed to create Visits with their assigned sales data.
  2. Check whether sales data is generated when creating a Visit.
  3. In the employee data, set one of the user's sales data entries as the main assignment, then try again.
