3723835 - Dispute Case remains "In Dispute" after rejection

Symptom

  • In SAP TM, a Carrier Invoice is received with a mismatch between the expected invoice amount and the amount submitted by the carrier. As a result, a Dispute Case is created.
  • The shipper can then review the discrepancy and decide whether to approve or reject the value proposed by the carrier.
  • However, after rejecting the Dispute Case, the Life Cycle Status remains "In Dispute" instead of changing to "Resolved". Additionally, the Action Status changes to "Awaiting Carrier Approval".
  • The user expects the Life Cycle Status to change to "Resolved" after rejecting the Dispute Case.
