Symptom
Stock inconsistency occurs and discrepancy is shown in the transaction /SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK.
The stock is no longer present in the warehouse which is consistently reflected in ERP data.
EWM system shows wrong quantity which is also visible in the /SCWM/CORRECT_QUANTS report.
Here only one entry is shown, but on database level, the /LIME/NQUAN contains more entries with the same GUID numbers.
Table /SCWM/QUAN has no entry and the Check Monitor does not have any result when the Available Quantity check is performed.
A stock inconsistency is observed between the ERP and EWM systems. The key symptoms include:
- The Stock Comparison for ERP transaction (/SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK) shows a discrepancy, indicating that EWM has stock which is not present in ERP.
- The stock level in the ERP system is correct (e.g., zero), but the EWM system incorrectly shows a different quantity. This ghost stock is often visible in the Warehouse Management Monitor (/SCWM/MON) under Stock and Bin → Physical Stock node.
- Correction reports like /SCWM/CORRECT_QUANTS may show a single entry reflecting the wrong quantity.
- A deeper technical analysis reveals:
- The primary EWM quant table /SCWM/QUAN has no entry for the affected stock.
- The underlying LIME (Logistics Inventory Management Engine) table /LIME/NQUAN contains multiple orphaned entries with the same GUID.
- The Check Monitor (/SCWM/CHM_LOG) does not report any issues for the product when the "Available Quantity" check is performed.
