Symptom

In the Process Task (IQS12) app, you are not able to open the input help for 'person responsible who completed the task' field.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Process Task app.
  2. Enter Notification and Task, click Continue.
  3. Expand the 'Planning Data' screen.
  4. Not able to open the input help for 'person responsible who completed the task' field.

Cause

The input help for the 'person responsible who completed the task' field (VIQMSM-ERLNAM) only works if the 'Basic Data' screen area is expanded and a partner function is selected in the 'Role of the responsible person for the task' field (VIQMSM-PARVW). In the Process Task application, these two fields are located on different screens. Therefore, if 'Basic Data' screen area is not expanded, the input help for 'person responsible who completed the task' field will not work.

Resolution

Make sure the 'Basic Data' screen area is expanded and a partner function is selected in the 'Role of the responsible person for the task' field. Then it's possible to open the input help of 'person responsible who completed the task' field in Process Task app.
