3724785 - Unable to make final rating required field in Customized Weighted Rating Section

Symptom

  • The final rating field in the customized weighted rating section cannot be set as a required field.
  • Despite configuring the required field permission in the XML template, the system does not enforce the final rating field as mandatory.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure the required field permission in the Customized Weighted Rating section of the XML template.
  2. Upload the updated XML template.
  3. Launch a new form and test the behavior in the system.
  4. Rating field in Customized Weighted rating section is not set as required

Cause

  • Required fields are not supported in the Customized Weighted Rating section as per the current system design.

Resolution
