3724865 - Dark mode Text input issue in Chrome browser with Accessibility enabled

Symptom

When using the High Contrast white text on black background accessibility feature in Chrome, typing a comment in objectives/goals or KPI fields limits the length of the text to 1/3 of the text box and creates a scroll bar.

This issue does not occur when using Chrome in regular mode without accessibility enabled.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enable the High Contrast white text on black background accessibility feature in Chrome.
  2. Navigate to Objectives/Development goals.
  3. Select a goal and start typing a comment.
  4. Observe that the length of the text is limited to 1/3 of the text box, and a scroll bar is created.
  5. Edit a goal and type in the KPI field to observe the same behavior.

Resolution

Engineering has fixed this issue and planned to be released with 1H 2026 release.
