Symptom

  • SF Stories display a blank or continuously loading screen after updating the SAML 2.0 signing certificate in the IAS tenant settings.

Environment

  • IAS configurations.

  • SAP SuccessFactors Story report. 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the instance.
  2. Navigate to Report Center.
  3. Create a story report.
  4. Observe the blank or continuously loading screen.

Cause

The IAS and IPs are not correctly configured automatically when the SAML 2.0 certification is updated in IAS.

Resolution

  • Verify the configuration in IAS and ensure the new SAML certificate is available in the application under SAML 2.0 configuration endpoints.

  • Run the provisioning job titled "Update IAS/IPS configuration for Story Reports."

  • Once completed, the Story Report should function correctly.
