2. Observe that the change is replicated to S/4HANA in the next replication job, disregarding the effective date.

This is the expected behavior of this integration.

Currently, the only date-related filter applied is the cutoff date, which doesn't affect future data: The Cutoff Date and Data Replication | SAP Help Portal.
