Symptom

During a Java system update,  the Software Update Manager (SUM) process gets stuck at step HANDLE-SAPHOSTAGENT with the error message below:

Error while executing process <SUM folder>\sdt\data\saphostagent\saphostexec.exe. java.io.IOException: Could not start '<SUM folder>\sdt\data\saphostagent\saphostexec.exe -upgrade' in path '<SUM folder>\sdt\data\saphostagent'. Details: CreateProcess error=740, The requested operation requires elevation.
