• Error message: "The report size is too large for the system to process" encountered while generating Audit Log report.
• Audit Log report generation fails due to the large size of the report.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Navigate to Change Audit Reports.
2. Select MDF Change Audit Report.
3. Provide the values:
4. Attempt to generate the report.
5. Observe the error message: "The report size is too large for the system to process."

• The issue occurred when major changes were applied to tenant data, such as during a mass deletion or update situation.
• Although the data range is intended to safeguard system health and avoid out-of-memory events, the guardrail for the maximum size of audit data to be loaded can also be achieved under an acceptable data range when specified events occur.

1. Engineering team is working to optimize the existing Audit Report logic to load and calculate audit data using only the time range, preventing it from consuming more memory than necessary. Currently, there is no data for implementation. New updates will be added to this KBA.

2. The limitation for the maximum size of the audit report can be increased temporarily as a workaround. In case you experience any similar situation, please raise an incident with LOD-SF-PLT-AUD to receive assistance.
