3725114 - Sales order import fails due to invalid sales order type in Finnish language - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When creating sales orders with the Import Sales Orders (App ID: F4293) app (Finnish: Tuo myyntitilaukset) in Finnish language, the process passes the validity precheck, including the order type. However, when clicking import button, it fails to create the sales orders due to the invalid sales order type VT. Error message is as following.
&1 (&2) is not a valid sales document type for SD document category &3.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The root cause of the issue is the Language-dependent Conversion of Sales Document Types in VA01. The Language-dependent conversion for the document type AG - Quotation in Finish is TA. TA is however the code for a standard order in the system. Due to conversion the standard order code in Finish ‘VT’ is converted to the original code ‘TA’ and then mistakenly converted again from ‘TA’ to ‘AG’.

This is a known issue in VA01. It is currently planned to be fixed in 2608 main release of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. Please note that SAP may decide to alter this timeframe without warning. The sales order import issue will align with the WEBGUI VA01 side once the correction is implemented.

As a temporary workaround before the correction, please use the English template to import sales orders in a English system.
