Symptom

  • A pop-up window titled [Sign in to access this site] appears when simultaneously logging into different systems (e.g. Fiori Launchpad) using multiple tabs or windows in the same browser
  • When pressing the [Cancel] button on the pop-up screen or close it, [401 Unauthorized] error occurs
  • The issue persists when accessing the URLs simultaneously in the same browser
  • The issue only occurs when using SAP Web Dispatcher, it has no issue when accessing backend system directly
  • Many 403 errors observed in HTTPWatch trace 
  • "HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden" error can be also seen in the corresponding level 2 Web Dispatcher trace
