3725260 - Unable to login to Embedded SAP Analytics Cloud Applications under SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  1. You changed the Subject Name Identifier settings in the Embedded SAC Application under IAS/SCI. Now, the Embedded SAP Analytics Cloud application displays the message "It seems that you don't have an active account."
  2. You have recently onboard new users, and the new users cannot access the embedded SAC applications (i.e. Order to Cash Dashboard, Aging Report for Accounts Payable,...) with message "It seems your profile is not configured for this system".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Embedded SAP Analytics Cloud

This KBA applies only to new installations of S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition that are done after 2602.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Embedded SAP Analytics Cloud application displays the message "It seems that you don't have an active account."
  2. Embedded SAP Analytics Cloud application displays the message "It seems your profile is not configured for this system".

Cause

  1. The login to the embedded SAP Analytics Cloud application uses an email address as the subject name identifier. You might have changed the settings in the IAS/SCI for the embedded SAP Analytics Cloud application from an email address to another value.
  2. The users are automatically replicated from SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition tenant to embedded SAC tenant through a job that is scheduled every hour.

Resolution

  1. Reset the IAS/SCI settings for Embedded SAP Analytics Cloud. Ensure that Email address is chosen as the Subject name Identifier, as delivered by SAP.
  2. The users might need to wait up till one hour to be able to access embedded SAC applications.
