3725551 - Numeric Point chart measure title show on the right side when the variance is set to display inline, in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Numeric Point chart measure title displays on the right side, and the expectation is to see the title below the measure.
• On a Numeric Point chart with two measures and one variance, when formatting the variance to display as "inline", the variance displays correctly on the right side of the measure.
• However, the title of the measure also displays inline, instead of below the measure as expected.
• In older story, in which there is Numeric Point chart, when the Variance is set to display inline, the title for the measure displays below the measure as expected.

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.2.8

1. In SAP Analytics Cloud, create a story.
2. Insert a Numeric Point chart with 2 measures and 1 variance.
3. Format the variance to display: "inline"
4. Observe the variance displays on the right side of the measure as expected, but the measure title also displays one the right side, instead of below the measure.

The issue is currently under investigation by development.

• Potential workaround:
  • If you have a story that uses the older Numeric Point chart, then copy the Numeric Point chart from an existing story, to the new story.
  • In the older Numeric Point widget, when setting the Variance to display inline, it showed the Measure title below the Measure.
