• An error occurs when attempting to upgrade 'Activate SuccessFactors Identity Authentication Service Integration'.

1. Run the upgrade 'Activate SuccessFactors Identity Authentication Service Integration' in the production SuccessFactors tenant.
2. Click "Yes" to proceed with the upgrade.
3. Encounter the error message described in the symptom section.

The IAS/IPS URLs in Provisioning do not match the ones in IAS, which were changed after running 'Initiate the SAP Cloud Identity Services Identity Authentication Service Integration' and before running the 'Activate SuccessFactors Identity Authentication Service Integration' upgrade.

The IAS/IPS URLs in Provisioning have to match the ones in IAS. Take the steps below to adjust in Provisioning:

1.  In IAS -> "Applications & Resources" -> "Tenant Settings" -> "Single Sign-On" -> "SAML 2.0 Configuration" > "Issuer", select the default name and Download the Metadata File.
2. Revert the SAML Asserting Parties value in SuccessFactors provisioning to the default domain values from IAS/Metadata File 
3. Perform the upgrade 'Activate SuccessFactors Identity Authentication Service Integration' successfully.

If customer wish to use a custom domain of IAS in SuccessFactors, they can, after completing the steps above:

1. Reconfigure the SAML Asserting Parties value in SuccessFactors provisioning to the custom domain values.
2. Test the Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality in SuccessFactors and confirm successful login using the custom domain URL.
