3725682 - Authorization Error When Opening the App "Manage Tax Items" after CE2602

When attempting to open the app Manage Tax Items from within the app Run Statutory Reports, the following authorization error appears: "Sorry, the app couldn't be opened.".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition CE2602 and above.

The app Manage Tax Items requires a new business catalog for authorization, which is not yet assigned to the user. 

Please follow these steps to resolve the authorization error:

1. Add the Required Business Catalog:
   Assign the following business catalog to a business role:

   • SAP_FIN_BC_MTI_COMMON_PC

2. Assign the Business Role to the User:
   Assign the business role containing the above business catalog to the CB user (or relevant user).
