3725738 - Discrepancy in Amounts Between App "Display Customer Summary - China" and App "Display G/L Account Balances"

The displayed amounts differ between the app Display Customer Summary - China and the app Display G/L Account Balances.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

1. Open the app Display Customer Summary - China.
2. Compare the amounts displayed in the report with those in the app Display G/L Account Balances.
3. Observe the discrepancy in amounts.

The discrepancy arises from differences in the data acquisition logic of the two apps:

In the app Display Customer Summary - China, unrealized foreign exchange gains/losses are only retrieved when the account type is D (customer). For accounts with account type S, these amounts are not retrieved.
The app Display G/L Account Balances does not have this limitation. It retrieves amounts directly from the account balances, including all relevant data.

Do not directly compare the amounts between Display Customer Summary - China and Display G/L Account Balances, as their data acquisition logic differs.

If analysis of the discrepancy between the two apps is required, click on the transaction amounts in each app to review the detail, and identify any missing or differing entries.
