3725835 - Mismatch in Picklist Label Display Values between Legacy People Profile and Latest People Profile

• A mismatch occurs in the labels displayed for a field Picklist. 

• One value may show in View All, and another may show in history when latest editing UI is disabled, but full people profile is enabled.

• Only occurs when there are multiple active picklist versions.

• Check a field with a picklist that has multiple versions on different effective dates 
• When viewing the value on a profile with the latest people profile enabled and the latest editing UI disabled, you may see different values between "View all" AND "History"

• Latest People Profile pulls the values of the picklist from the version that was effective as of  the inserted record date.
• Legacy People Profile pulls the values effective as of today.
• So when viewing a profile with latest people profile enabled, and the latest editing UI disabled, there are different values showing on View all vs when viewing the record via history

• Engineering have confirmed that this behavior is expected due to difference in how picklists are handled between Legacy People Profile and Latest People profile and will persist until the latest editing UI becomes universal in 1H 2027
• As a workaround you can ensure that picklists have one active version, or ensure that latest editing UI is enabled with the Latest full People Profile
