3725850 - "No data supplied to render email template" error in App Create Correspondence - S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Sending of VAT document for down payment to a CZ customer (Natural Person) without VAT registration number results in an error message: "No data supplied to render email template "FI_CORR_VAT_DOWN_PAYMENT" in step "Email Preview" when an email template is selected.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

App: Create Correspondence (AppID: F0744A) 

1. Specify the Parameters (Company Code, Correspondence, Journal Entry, Fiscal Year)
2. Go to Email Preview
3. Choose the Email Template

System design

According to the law Section §28/1 a) of Act No. 235/2024 Coll., the taxable person is obliged to issue a tax document in the event of supply of goods or provision of services to a taxable person or to a legal person not liable to tax.

As the Natural Person is not taxable person (i.e. not independently carrying out economic activity), the obligation to issue a tax document does not apply.

Workaround:

If the correspondence still needs to be printed. A PDF preview can be used, and it can be sent manually.
