3725955 - Application error when submitting manager offboarding checklist for terminated employee - Onboarding

Application error occurs when attempting to submit the manager offboarding checklist for a terminated employee.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Access the Manage Offboarding Checklist card from the Home Page.
2. Right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect to open the browser's Developer Tools.
3. Open the Network tab and make sure the network recording is enabled.
4. Submit the Offboarding Checklist to reproduce the issue.
5. Observe the requests in the Network tab. An application error should be displayed with the following message:
   • "Cannot update the status of a custom task which is already completed, cancelled, or closed."
     
     

1. The task was assigned to a different HR manager, was completed and the home page card is stuck in the home page. 
2. The offboarded was completed, cancelled, closed or achieved. 

Since we are unable to complete the task due to the reason described in the development tool, we recommend that the customer manually remove the homepage card instead.
