3726010 - How to Send Notifications for Missing Clock Time in SuccessFactors Time Tracking

Symptom

There is a business requirement to trigger system notifications for employees whenever a missing clock‑out, or any unpaired time event is detected.

Cause

Current system design.

Resolution

It is currently not possible to trigger notifications for unpaired time events in SuccessFactors Time Tracking.

Solution:

We are planning to provide this enhancement in 2H2026 release. For release timelines, please review SAP SuccessFactors Product Release & Road Map Information.

In the meantime, please consider the following approaches as possible workarounds:

option A) SAP Community blog: Timely Time Sheet Alerts for no records on previous working day

option B) Using the Story report for Time Events. Additional insights are available in the KBA 3313903 - Report for missing Clock in and Clock Out,
and SAP Community blog: Support for Reporting of Time Events.

option C) Go to the Manage Clock In Clock Out transaction to filter unpaired Time Events.
