• Unable to change the "Processing Status" of WBS in a project despite the availability of a budget for the WBS.
• The "Processing Status" of the parent WBS differs from that of the child WBS.
• "Processing Status" Button is greyed out.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Navigate to "Project Control - Enterprise Project" and select the project.
2. Select the project and click on the "Edit" option available at the header level.
3. Choose "Edit In" and select "Project Planning".
4. Attempt to change the "Processing Status"; the system does not allow the change.

This is the expected behavior by design.

1. Ensure that no other users are actively editing the project or that no draft is ongoing.
2. Select the specific WBS line within the project.
3. Once the WBS line is selected, the "Processing Status" button will be enabled.
4. Proceed to change the "Processing Status" of the WBS.
5. Verify the status change and confirm functionality.

Please note that button becomes enabled only when the WBS line is selected.
