Symptom
The edit query option is not visible in data management for the New Model type import jobs in SAC.
Environment
SAP analytics Cloud
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to SAC.
- Open the model in issue.
- Navigate to Data management.
>> Observe that the three vertical dots are not present to edit the query in the import job.
Cause
After Neo to CF migration, the classic import job does not support edit->query.
Resolution
- After the migration, existing job continues to run using the legacy code. If a new job is created, it will make use of the new architecture and the edit query will be available to the new jobs.
- There is currently no user interface option available to use “Edit Query” for an existing classic import job.
- To retrieve details about the column mappings and transformations configured in the previous job, it is possible to refer to the information available in the browser’s Network tab.
