3726033 - Clipboard functionality is not available in SAP Analytics Cloud model's variable prompt

Symptom

While opening SAC story, clipboard functionality is not available for certain variables in model's variable prompt.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login into SAC.
  2. Open a story with model containing variables.
    >> In the model's variable prompt observe that the clipboard functionality is not available for certain variable.

Cause

In scenarios where "MultipleValues: false", the clipboard is not supported.

Resolution

Enable multi value support for the variable from the BW backend in order to see a clipboard.

Note: This also means that users will be able to set multiple values/ranges for that variable, instead of just one.
