3726104 - Germany: Legal Changes for Tax Categories DE1 and DE2 with Updated Mapping Requirements - SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • After performing mass updates (via transactions MASS, XK99, or XD99), German tax identification numbers are incorrectly mapped in the system.
  • This discrepancy is typically observed after applying SAP Note 3508853 or the equivalent Support Package.
  • Similar mapping issues occur during the migration of classical SAP Business Partners to the CVI-based Central Business Partner.
  • Specific requirements exist for the identification number according to § 139b AO.
