3726294 - Hyperlink behavior on Total rows and cells in SAP Analytics Cloud Tables

• Hyperlinks are enabled in SAP Analytics Cloud tables that display totals.
• Hyperlinks are also enabled on total rows and total cells, leading to incorrect and misleading behavior.
• Clicking hyperlinks on total rows results in undefined URLs because SAP Analytics Cloud cannot resolve a valid dimension member from a total.
• Expected behavior: Hyperlinks should not be visible or clickable on total rows and total cells since totals do not map to a concrete dimension value.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2026.2.6

1. Log in to SAP Analytics Cloud using valid credentials.
2. Navigate to the story "Hyperlinking on totals".
3. Open the table that displays totals with hyperlinks enabled.
4. Click the hyperlink on a total row or total cell.
5. Observe that clicking the hyperlink on a total row results in an undefined URL.

Totals do not represent valid dimension members, leading to undefined URLs and invalid filters when hyperlinks are enabled.

The issue is currently under investigation by the development.

Workarounds:

1. Arrange totals to appear at the bottom of the table to minimize user confusion.
2. Hide hyperlinks on total rows and use the "Go to Link" functionality on measure cells instead.
