3726336 - eDocument Mexico: Unable to Print eDocument

Symptom

System is raising an error message “Error during the generation of the PDF; PDF could not be created.” when trying to print the PDF for an eDocument, even if the eDocument is in status Accepted by Tax Authorities or Sent to Customer. 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the eDocument Cockpit APP.
  2. Search for the eDocument
  3. Click the "Print" button.
  4. Observe the error message: "Error during the generation of the PDF; PDF could not be created."

Cause

The button Print functionality is not supported in the current system configuration.

Resolution

Please follow below steps to print the PDF.

  1. Go to the eDocument Cockpit.
  2. Select the related document.
  3. Click the button "Display" and choose "Display PDF".
  4. Use the "Print" button or the shortcut Ctrl + P to print the document.
