3726354 - Incorrect Requirement Quantity for Alternative BOM Component in Process Order - SAP ERP

Symptom

  • Upon creating and releasing a 20,000LB Process Order in SAP ERP, the Materials tab correctly displayed the Requirement Quantity of a BOM component with 25% usage probability.
  • After performing Goods issue for one of the alternative materials, the user changes the total quantity in the process order.
  • The Requirement Quantity in the Materials tab changes incorrectly for the alternative material for which Goods issue has happened, calculating the quantity as per batch deviation.
  • The Requirement Quantity for remaining alternative materials populates correctly in the Materials tab for which Goods issue hasn't happened.
  • For non-alternative BOM components, the required quantity shows correctly even if the total quantity of the process order is changed after Goods issue.
