Symptom
Error "You've reached the maximum number of cells allowed in a data export" when exporting a table to PDF in SAC
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.8.17
Reproducing the Issue
- Log in to the SAC
- Open the story containing the table.
- Select the table and click on more actions
- Choose Export from the menu.
- Select PDF as the export format.
Notice: Error "You've reached the maximum number of cells allowed in a data export."
Cause
The tables had 3 million cells or exceeding 60 columns cannot be exported for the PDF export in SAC
Resolution
Reduce the number of cells in the table to be less than 3 million.
