3726542 - ‘Complete and Submit Your Job Application’ email trigger does not work for draft applications when ‘Candidate Experience’ is enabled - Recruiting Management

• The recruiting email trigger 'Complete and Submit Your Job Application' does not send an email notification if the candidate leaves an application in draft status when 'Candidate Experience for Career Site’ is enabled in Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Settings.
• The provisioning job to send this email 'Send Notifications for Abandoned Job Applications’ runs successfully but the email notification is not triggered.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Prerequisite Configuration:

In Admin Center > Recruiting Email Triggers ensure the trigger 'Complete and Submit your Job Application’ is enabled and a valid email template is linked to it. Ensure the associated email template is enabled in Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Email Templates and that tokens contained within are valid.

1. Navigate to your Career Site
2. Choose any Job Requisition and click 'Apply'.
3. Either sign in if you have an account or else click 'Create an Account' and complete the account creation process. 
4. On the application, upload a CV and complete some profile information.
5. Before submitting the application, click 'close'.
6. When the warning popup appears, check the box 'Save as Draft’ and click 'OK'
7. Wait until the daily job 'Send Notifications for Abandoned Job Applications' runs in provisioning.
8. Check Provisioning > Monitor Jobs > ‘Send Notifications for Abandoned Job Applications’ and confirm that the job ran and completed successfully.
9. Verify that no email notification is received.

The issue appears to be related to 'Candidate Experience for Career Site’ enabled in Manage Recruiting Settings, which prevents the email trigger 'Complete and Submit your Job Application’ from functioning as expected when a candidate saves their application in draft status.
