3726549 - Error "enter cost element" encountered during BAPI Routing_Maintain update process

Symptom

  • The error message "E CP 562 Enter cost element" is displayed when attempting to update the control key for detail line 2 using the BAPI (routing_maintain), despite the required cost element being provided.
  • The update flag for the cost element in detail line 1 is empty, and the BAPI fails to execute successfully, even when the update flag for detail line 2 is set to "X".
