3726604 - Alt-Name field Masking in manage business configuration Causes Standard First and Last Name Fields to Be Masked in Latest People Profile-Personal information

In the latest People Profile view, the standard name fields - First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name are being masked, even though only the alternate name fields (First Name Alt1, Middle Name Alt1, Last Name Alt1) are configured as masked in Manage Business Configuration.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central -Latest People Profile

1. Navigate to the Employee profile "AAA".
2. Go to Personal Information.
3. Observe that the First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name fields are masked.
4. Check Manage Business Configuration: the standard fields (First Name, Middle Name, Last Name) are not masked (masked=No), but the corresponding Alt-Name fields are masked (Masked=Yes).

This is an expected behaviour

This is expected behavior in the latest People Profile. When Alt-Name fields are set to masked: YES, the standard name fields will also be masked in latest people profile. This is because Alt-Names are nested under the parent name fields, so there is no space in the bubble for a show/hide control.
