3726638 - Missing Rule for 'Select WhatToBring Config' Scenario BPE Error - Onboarding

Onboarding BPE administrators encounter an error when initiating onboarding for new hires: “Error -> exactly 1 Rule for Rule Scenario 'Select WhatToBring Config' has to be defined. There is no Rule defined, Please create the missing Rule!”

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Proxy as BPE admin user.

2. Navigate to the To Do section and open Business Process.

3. Click on View onboarding task creation errors for the onboarding process.

4. Observe the following error message:
   “Create Onboarding WhatToBring Activity - Error -> exactly 1 Rule for Rule Scenario 'Select WhatToBring Config' has to be defined. There is no Rule defined, Please create the missing Rule!”

The BPE error occurs because the 'Rule' object in the Object Definition is marked as secured but has not been granted to BPE users.

1. Grant the 'Rule' permission to BPE administrators.

2. After updating the permissions, perform an OData refresh.

3. Restart the BPE error process in the To Do section.

4. This sequence should resolve the onboarding task creation issue.
