3726946 - Problems with set buffering cause inconsistent cost center group content in RW reports

In SAP S/4HANA, warning message GS862 is logged in transaction SLG1 for object SET_BUF.

At the same time, RW reports (for example S_ALR* reports) may display inconsistent or unexpected content for cost center groups.

Refreshing the set buffer manually, for example by deleting shared memory area CL_SET_HIERARCHY_SHM_AREA in transaction SHMM, may temporarily resolve the issue. However, the problem can reappear after some time.
